Daffo's UK Weather Report!
Hey everyone! Daffodaily5 has reported on the weather in the UK!
"Hiya!
My oh my! It's so WARM in the UK at the moment! Well, it's warm by our standards anyway! I thought I'd show you what weather looks like from my office here in Brighton. As you can see, it's nice and sunny with a few clouds! The perfect opportunity to throw on some sunglasses and spend a bit of time outdoors (which is difficult at the moment because there's so much football going on!) :D

Penguin Cup Guide 2014
Hey everyone! Put your shoes on and make sure to warm up beforehand, because the Penguin Cup is on now!
When you first log in, Aunt Arctic will give you a little information about the Penguin Cup.
The whole island has been decorated in the team colors, and it looks really cool!
Let's get started! First, click on the soccer ball on the top right of your screen.
It's time to pick your team! I'm going to play for the Space Squids in the Penguin Cup.
When you pick a team, you'll see this screen, or something very similar. So, from this screen you can do many things. Everyone can collect a free Penguin Cup Ball. You can use this ball for shootouts, but I'll get to that later. You can view where each team are on the ladder. As you can see, the Sharks are steaming ahead of everyone else. You can also unlock items from here once you've played a certain amount of shootouts. Now, let's get to shootouts!
To start a shootout, just hold the Penguin Cup Ball and press D.
After you've done this, you just have to wait for someone else to join you. You can also just click on another penguin waiting to start a shootout to begin one.
This game is pretty simple. A sort of pattern will appear on you screen, with a moving circle and a target.
To kick a goal, you have to click on your side of the screen when the moving circle is above the target.
To win, you have to kick more goals than the other penguin before the time runs out.
When the game finishes, you'll earn points depending on how many goals you've kicked, and how many you've kicked in a row. After you've reached a certain number of points, a set of items will be unlocked.
The top set of items are for everyone, and the bottom set are for members only. You points, or Career Total, can be seen at the top left of this screen, or by clicking on your, or another penguin's player card.
As your earning goals for your team, you might see penguins with super soccer shoes! These shoes are for members only, and can be unlocked by earning a certain number of Career points.
The first pair of shoes you unlock are the Water Power Shoes! If you wear them and press D, you can see a cool animation.
You can do this with the other shoes as well. These shoes will help you a lot while you're in a shootout.
Basically, what these shoes do is help you kick goals faster, and they help a lot! As you unlock more shoes, they'll help you score faster. The Lightning Power Shoes are the fastest shoes you can get.
If you need to take a break from playing soccer, or to train, you can relax at your team base! Blue base is the Beach, Green base is the Dock, Red base is the Forest and Yellow base is the Cove. You can also get a different colored Vuvuzela from each team base.
If you've bought the Soccer Pitch Igloo background, and have it as you current background, your igloo will be featured on the Stadium Igloos list.
There are also eight new emotes: A yellow and red card emote, a whistle emote, a foam hand emote in each team color and a goal emote.

We Answer Some Questions about the Latest App Update!
Hey everyone! Polo Field has posted a Q&A about the latest Club Penguin App update!
"We've been getting a ton of questions about the latest Club Penguin iOS app update. We wanted to give you guys some answers.
Why can't I see my backyard?
- We weren't able to complete the build on the backyard for version 1.4 of the CP app. However... you can still see which puffles are in your backyard, and move them to your igloo by tapping on the Gate igloo. Stay tuned for this update in a future release!
Why can't I care for my puffles in my igloo?
- When we started working on the 1.4 update, we felt that being able to adopt a puffle was the most important, so we finished that first. We hope to have an improved close-up care in a future release. :)
How do I adopt puffles in the app?
- You'll have to update the app to the version 1.4 before you can adopt puffles in the app. Once you've updated the app, you can head to the Pet Shop and adopt a puffle.
Will parties be coming to the app?
- That's the goal!
Will mascots be able to visit?
- There are so many things that we want on the Club Penguin app, and mascots is one of them. We're not yet sure when we'll be able to get them in, but we'll let you know as soon as we can.
Will CP staff visit?
- Yep... the team members log on the Club Penguin app every so often. We just can't spend too much time there, because we have to make stuff for the CP community instead. ;)
When is the Pizza Parlor coming?
- We're working on getting new rooms into the app and the Pizza Parlor is scheduled to come out later this year. As soon as we know when we can get the update ready, we'll let you know!

Penguin Prom
Hey everyone! Get ready to dance, because the penguin prom has begun at the School!
Look at that limo! Now, let's enter the prom!
Cool! There's a couple of cool things you can do in here. For starters, you can get a free Graduation Hat from the free stand.
You can also get a free School Dance Background by clicking on the camera.
Lastly, when you throw snowballs, you throw graduation hats instead!
I love the idea of having a mini-party each month, before the main party. I wonder what the next min-party will be? What do you think?

Igloo & Furniture Catalog June 2014
Hey everyone! If you've ever wanted to have a soccer field for an igloo, well now you can, with the new Igloo and Furniture catalog!
The new part of this catalog is filled with soccer furniture and gym gear.
There are three new hidden items in this catalog. The first hidden item is the Scoop Chair. You can get it by clicking on the rotated Scoop Chair.
The second hidden item is the Funky Bookshelf, and you can get it by clicking on the empty bookshelf.
The last hidden item is one of my favorites, the Portal Box! You can get it by clicking on the Multi-Ball.
There's so many cool items in this catalog, you could almost host the Penguin Cup in your own igloo! That would be pretty cool.

Penguin Cup Contruction
Hey everyone! The Penguin Cup is approaching fast, ans construction has begun on it!
At the Snow Forts, you can see the modifications being made to the Stadium, with some other cool things, such as the banners.
The Stadium has been transformed into a gym, for the teams to train before the Penguin Cup. I can't wait to play in it!
