Megg-pie Tuesday

Hey everyone! Megg has invited us to a Megg-pie Tuesday party!

"Everyone knows what Magpies are right? If not, --they are a species of bird that likes to eat pie and can read magazines, hence the name Magpie! (Just kidding, it would be awesome if that was true though)

Anyways! The titles actually has a double meaning:

1. I will be going online for Megg Tuesday

2. We will be joining in on a CP Pie Day celebration!

We received word that on April 1, penguins that were at the Beta Test Party when Club Penguin was first released will be 3141 days old -- I'd say that's an awesome reason to celebrate! Here are the details:

UK Magazine Sneak Peek: Bad Guys!

Hey everyone! Daffodaily5 has revealed a sneak peek of the Club Penguin Magazine on the What's New Blog!

Someone just handed me a fresh copy of the next issue of the UK magazine, so I thought I'd share a few features with you guys before it's even released in the shops!

This issue is all about the bad guys, so there's lots of info on Herbert, Klutzy, Protobot and Sensei's nemesis, Tusk. In fact, there's a pretty cool interview with the wicked walrus himself! Check it out:

Plus there's the usual selection of mind-bending puzzles and comical comics, plus there's a pretty 'fly' free gift for ninjas! The magazine will be hitting UK stores on May 1st.

May The 4th Be With You... And also with Chattabox!

Hey everyone! Chattabox has announced a Star Wars party she'll be hosting on Club Penguin!

"G'Day Penguins,

It's finally time to say farewell to the AWESOME Puffle Party! It's definitely been the best party so far this year, don't you agree? Thanks Club Penguin!

This weekend, the world goes Star Wars CRAZY! May 4th is National Star Wars Day - 'May the 4th'... 'May the force'... get it?! So, I think this calls for a party - Chattabox style! Dig out those Lightsabers, Jedi Outfits and dress your Puffles in those cute R2-D2 hats; it's time to visit a Galaxy Far Far Away... We'll have 2 teams - the Jedi Knights and the Dark Side; you choose which team you belong to! (If you don't have any Star Wars themed items just dress in dark clothing for the Dark Side and white clothing for the Jedi Knights). Then let the lightsaber battles and Snowball fights begin. How exciting!

Let's meet at The Snow Forts on the Down Under server at 4pm (East Australian Standard Time) on Thursday 1st May, which will be 6pm for all of you in New Zealand. Don't forget, this is now 11pm Penguin Standard Time on Wednesday 30th April for everyone over in the US and Canada, and 7am on Thursday 1st May April for my pals in the UK.

Busy

Hey everyone! As you've probably seen, I haven't been very active in the past week. Unfortunately, I've been busy. These things happen. I don't think I have time to post every single thing that I've missed, but I'll do a quick overview of it all.

The Club Penguin App has been updated for iPad, and released on iPhone and iPod Touch!

I'll try to do a review on it later this week. Club Penguin has released some meetup times for PH! You can view them by clicking here, and here.

The Puffle Handbook and Puffle Catalog have been updated! Check them out for new Puffle food, hats, and some info on the new Puffles!

All the Puffle Booth items have been unlocked! Make sure you've collected them all!

The Puffle Gala is open at the Stage! Show off your Puffle and perform cool tricks!

Some free item codes have been released. Use the codes PUFFLES1 and NATLPARK to unlock the Blue Border Collie Hat and the Park Ranger Hat.

Game On have released a review for the Puffle Party, which you can view below.

Megg and Polo Field have posted some sneak peeks about May's parties, which you can view here and here.

Finally, Club Penguin have uploaded an official video for the Club Penguin App update!

Puffle Party 2014 Guide

Hey everyone! It's time for the Puffle Party!

When you log in, PH will give you your Puffle Progress tracker and give you some more info on the party.

I love the way the Puffle Party is decorated. If you go to your map, you can sort of see how each room's decorated.

Cool! First off, let's take a look at the Puffle Progress tracker, by clicking on the icon on the top right of your screen.

Much like the Muppets World Tour, a new item is unlocked every day, with something at the Stage being unlocked on the last day. To get the first prize, click the "Go There" button under the Pink Puffle slot.

To get the items, click on the Pink Puffle notice board and collect the items!

The Puffle Trainer Outfit is for members only, but the Squeaky Ball is for everyone. If you go back to the Puffle Progress tracker, you can see the option to transform into any one of your Puffles.

This feature is for everyone. The last button on the Puffle Progress tracker takes you to the Pet Shop, so if you're a member, you can adopt the new Puffles!

Members can adopt the Border Collie and Tabby Cat Puffles for 800 coins each.

Now, let's take a look at Puffle Tricks!

To do a trick, just click on the trick you want to do.

The best trick, though, is the Puffle dig trick. You can automatically dig up an item, but it takes a a minute to recharge.

If you go to the map, you can see a list of all the igloos that have the Tree House Igloo.

As the name suggests, to get on the list, you need to have the Tree House Igloo set as your igloo. If you go to the Beach, you can pick up some free Lavender Bunny Ears.

As always, there are three new Puffle themed emotes: An O'Berry, a bone and a ball of string.

That's the Puffle Party! I'm really enjoying it this year. I can't wait to see what happens on April 24!

Puffles Coming to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch

Hey everyone! Polo Field has given us a sneak peek of Puffles coming to the Club Penguin App!

The team has been working really hard to get these little guys animated in 3D, and they'll be available TOMORROW!

Chattabox's Easter 'Egg'stravagansa

Hey everyone! Chattabox has announced an Easter egg hunt!

"G'Day Penguins,

Last week we had an awesome game of hide and seek - rangers and animals style! Thanks for taking part, we found some pretty sneaky hiding places around the island... Including, Rockhopper's ship; check out the picture of us sailing the seas yarrrr!

It's finally Easter - one of my favourite times of the year. You know why...? Because Easter means CHOCOLATE, and LOTS of it! So lets hold an Easter party to celebrate this totally "sweet" holiday! Come dressed in anything Easter themed - as a bunny, an egg, a chick, chocolate... whatever that makes you think of Easter! We'll meet in the Forest and take it from there, who knows, it might even be time to go and find the new cat and dog puffles - TOO EXCITING! Also, don't forget your favourite jokes and dance moves - it wouldn't be a Chattabox party without a giggle and a dance!

Club Penguin App Coming Soon to iPhone/iPod Touch

Hey everyone! Polo Field has officially announced the release of the Club Penguin app on iPhone and iPod Touch!

"Since the launch of the Club Penguin App on iPad, we've gotten requests for the app to launch on other devices. I'm excited to say that the team is listening and we are working hard at work getting the Club Penguin app ready for the iPod Touch and iPhone!

This is going to be HUGE! There will be a bunch of the CP rooms, igloos, and PUFFLES. The app will be released soon -- until then, here are a few screenshots from my iPod Touch.

Exclusive Earth Day 2014 Costume Code!

Hey everyone! Polo Field has posted some info about Earth Month on the What's New Blog!

Rockhopper!!!

Hey everyone! Rockhopper has finally made port at Club Penguin!

When you walk onto The Migrator, he'll give you a quick message.

Rockhopper has brought four new items for us, one item for everyone and the other items for non-members.

Rockhopper's notice board is a bit muddy, but you can still read it. Sort of.

Rockhopper is also waddling around the island, but he has no new background.

I think Rockhopper is only staying until the Puffle Party starts, so if you haven't added him yet, now's your chance!

Hey everyone! A strange new feature has been added to Club Penguin!

If you click the blue icon on your map to the right, this little screen will appear. I have a distinct feeling that this quest system will be a part of the upcoming Puffle Party. I wonder what kinds of quests we'll be able to complete?

Igloo & Furniture Catalog April 2014

Hey everyone! Club Penguin has released a new igloo and furniture catalog to create a Puffle paradise!

On the igloo side of the catalog, there's three new igloos, the Puffle Tree House igloo, the Wildlife Den igloo and the Theater Igloo.

The furniture items are a combination of Puffle themed items and Earth Month items.

There's one new hidden item, which is the Puffle Stage. You can get it by clicking in the middle of the flooring page.

With all this furniture, you could create a pretty cool Puffle playground. I'm already starting to get ideas. I just need the coins now...
