I'm pretty sure that the fact is says September 2014 on the front cover is a bug. Anyway, the new part of this catalog is filled with skating gear from September's Penguin Style and the School and Skate Party.
The Snow and Sports Catalog has also been added to the Skatepark!
You can find it in the bottom right corner of your screen. I think it's cool that Club Penguin have added these items for anyone who may have missed out on them. Have you bought a skateboard yet?
