October 26th Floors Unlocked

Hey everyone! Floors 11 and 12 are now unlocked!

Let's check it out!

To solve this puzzle, we're going to have to answer some riddles! The way this works is, the statue will give you a clue to what the answer of the riddle is. It will ask four questions, and each answer to each questions is one of the smiley emotes on the wall. To answer a riddle, 'speak' the emote that is the answer. When the statue asks the following questions, respond with the following emotes.

"When you're out and you see a friend. This is how your mouth will bend." Smiley Face Emote 

"What your wear when you're in a bad mood. Or when you're getting some attitude." Sad Face Emote

"A clever look to let friends know, that what you're saying is just for show." Winky Face Emote

"The face you make if you feel queasy. Being green sure isn't easy." Sick Face Emote


Don't worry if you answer incorrectly, you'll get another chance to answer. Once you've answered all the riddles, the statue will move and the last part of Gariwald's ghost catcher will be revealed!

To get the part, all you have to do is waddle over to it.

Once you pick it up, Skip will inform you that the ghost catcher is now ready to go. Let's head to the 12th floor and capture some ghosts!

It's time to get rid of these Ghost Puffles once and for all! Step on the big red button to start the machine.

Awesome! It looks like they've all be captured safely! Wait a minute...

What's happening? Why am I in a cage?

Oh snap! Skip was a ghost the whole time! I have to admit, I was a bit sceptical when Skip said he was a bellhop. I didn't realize the Puffle Hotel had a bellhop!

After you've read what Skip the definitely-not-friendly ghost has to say, Gariwald will talk to you. It looks like he's been captured by Skip as well! We have to find a way to get out of the cage!

See the power box above the cage? Throw a snowball at it to turn the cage off!

Yes, we've escaped the cage! I'm taking a wild guess, but I think that red button in front of the cage might stop Skip. Let's press it!

Oh oh.

Skip's using his ghostly powers to stop us from reaching the button! Hmm... the part of the roof over Skip's head doesn't look very stable. I wonder what would happen if I threw a snowball at it?

He's dazed, but only for a couple of seconds. Now's our chance!

I think we've done it!

After you've defeated Skip, Gariwald will congratulate you. Now for the rewards!

The orange suitcase is unlocked now, so everyone can get the Little Jack, and members can get the Skeleton Mask. For saving Gariwald and the Ghost Puffles, everyone can collect the free Bellhop Hat, and membres can adopt their very own Ghost Puffle!

With that, the Halloween Party is complete! I have to say, I really liked all the puzzle we've had to complete to progress. And that surprise twist at the end; I did not see that coming! Have you liked this year's Halloween Party compared to previous parties?

Gary and Aunt Arctic Halloween Party 2014

Hey everyone! Not only has the Halloween Party started, but it's also Club Penguin's 9th anniversary, which means Gary and Aunt Arctic will be waddling around the island!

Unfortunately, none of them have a new player card or background, and Gary still has his payer card from the Future Party!

If you haven't added them as a friend yet, you can view some meetup times for both of them here. Remember, Aunt Arctic will only be around for the Anniversary Party, so she's the one to look for if you haven't met her already. Happy searching!

October 25th Floors Unlocked

Hey everyone! The puzzles on floors 8 and 9 are now available for completion!

Let's go to floor 8!

To get this part of Gariwald's ghost catcher, all you have to do is click all the pumpkins, until they've all exploded.

Waddle over to the part to collect it.

Floor 8 complete! Let's go to floor 9!

This puzzle is a maze, so all you have to do is follow the maze until you reach the red button. To complete the maze, just follow the path in this image.

To collect the part, just follow the path backwards until you can reach the part.

Floor 9 completed! As a reward, everyone can collect the free Magic Hat, and members can collect the free Ghost Puffle Costume. If you go to the 5th floor, you'll see that the blue suitcase is also unlocked.

Awesome! Only one more part to collect, then we can catch some Ghost Puffles and locate Gariwald! Stay tuned!

Club Penguin's 9th Anniversary Party

Hey everyone! It's hard to believe, but Club Penguin is now nine years old!

If you check out the Coffee Shop, it's decorated for Club Penguin's ninth anniversary party! That cake looks delicious! Make sure to pick up the 9th Anniversary Hat, because that's one item you don't want to miss out on.

You can also look through the new yearbook, which holds a record of all the parties that have happened this past year.

If you look really carefully, you might be able to find some of the pins that have been released over this past year as well. I can't believe that not only has is been another year, but also it's one year until Club Penguin reaches double digits! What's been your favorite memory from this year? Mine would have to be the Prehistoric Party. I think it's just such a great party, and I love turning into dinosaurs. What about you?

Halloween Party 2014 Guide

Hey everyone! Get ready for the spookiest party of the year, because the Halloween Party has begun!

When you first log in, Gary will appear. Apparently, his great uncle Gariwald has gone missing in the Puffle Hotel! Before we start looking for him, let's take a look around!

One of the main things I love about the Halloween Party is that when a room is decorated, it's decorated well. Now, let's find Gariwald! Let's get started by clicking on the lollipop icon on the top right of your screen.

The Halloween Party quests use the same system as the Frozen Party and the School and Skate Party. We have four quests to start off with, then a new quest is unlocked every day. Everyone can also collect the free Ghostly Suitcase, and members can unlock the free Shadow Wings. First off, let's check out the Puffle Hotel.

When you first enter, Skip the bellhop will great you. It look like we'll have to get power back to the elevator, which also happens to be the first quest. To get to the basement, click on the trapdoor with the ladder and an orange glow.

Unfortunately, getting the power back isn't going to be easy as flicking the three switches. This is a puzzle! Each time you pull a switch, not only does it effect the switch you pull, it also effect another switch. For example, if you pull the left switch, the right switch will also move.

To complete the puzzle, pull the right switch, then the middle switch, then the left switch.

As soon as you complete the puzzle, a Ghost Puffle will appear for a couple of seconds! Skip will also give you a message. Let's check out quest book.

First quest completed! Awesome! Now we have power to the elevator, let's check out the second quest.

When you first enter the room, you'll see a gear in the fireplace. Then it will close, and all the candles will light up. Some Ghost Puffles will appear, and Skip will give you another message.

This puzzle is similar to a puzzle from the Medieval Party. All you have to do is put out the candles by throwing snowballs at them. Beware, as they will light up again if you wait too long! My tip would be to, as soon as you've thrown one snowball, throw another one, even if you're penguin is still throwing the first one. It may not look like it's working, but it does. Once you've put out all the candles, the fireplace will open.

Waddle over to the gear to collect it, and Skip will give you another message.

I guess we'll be looking for parts for Gariwald's ghost catcher. Possible to capture a Ghost Puffle? Let's check out quest book.

Second quest complete! Time for the third quest!

Just like the second quest, you'll see a part of Gariwald's ghost catcher for a moment, then a door will cover it. To complete this puzzle, you have to turn the mirrors so that the light reflects of them and hits the locked door. To complete it, turn the mirrors until they look like this.

Walk over to the part to collect it. Back to the quest book!

We've only got one more quest we can complete today, so let's get it!

Another part, another locked door, another puzzle; I think we're starting to get the jist of it now. This puzzle is not so much a puzzle, as a maze!

If you go down one of the four paths, you'll enter another room, and Skip will give you another message. The only thing that's changed is only one of the signs is lit! To complete this puzzle, you have to enter the rooms in the order of the signs. So walk into each room in this order: purple, green, red and blue.

Once you've done this, you'll end up back at the start, and the door will unlock. Walk to the part to collect it. That's all the quests we can complete, for now. A new quest will be available tomorrow. Now that the elevator is working, let's check out some of the other floors.

The Lobby, Basement, Sitting Room, Dining Room and Ballroom we've already checked out. The Gym and Spa and Roof are the normal Puffle Hotel rooms, with Halloween decorations. The Deluxe Suite, however, is a bit strange.

In the quest book, items will be unlocked instead of a quest. The first lot of items are already unlocked, so that's why the purple suitcase doesn't have any chains. This room just represents which items are unlocked. There's one more room we can check out. The Storage room.

When you first enter, Skip will give you a message. It looks like this is where Gariwald keeps his ghost catcher. All we have to do is repair it. That's all we can do in the Puffle Hotel for now. Let's check out some other parts of the island.

You can check out Night of the Living Sled at the Lighthouse. There are also three new emotes: a vampire smiley, a jack-o-lantern and a ghost.
