Hey everyone! Roll up, roll up, and welcome to Club Penguin's The Fair 2014!
The first time you log in, Rookie will tell you a little bit about The Fair.
Let's get started!
You may have the image of past Fairs in your head; a bunch of mini-games and prize booths. I want you to delete that image, because this time around, The Fair is bigger and better than ever!
If you're in an area of The Fair, you can click the map icon and it'll bring up a map of The Fair. From here, you can switch to the normal Club Penguin map, go to your igloo and open The Fair igloo list. You can also choose what area of The Fair you want to go to. Let's start with the main hub.
There are seven things you can do here. If you waddle to the arch in the bottom left corner, it takes you to the Dock. If you waddle to the arch in the bottom right corner, you can view The Fair igloo list. Let's check out the prize booth, on the middle right of your screen. You can also click the ticket on the top right to view it.
Here, you can view the amount of tickets you have and buy some cool prizes! The top two shelves are prizes for members only, and the bottom shelve is prizes for everyone. One prize for everyone is unlocked every day. If you click "More Prizes", it'll take you to another whole page of prizes! But these prizes aren't available until February the 27th.
You can also play The Daily Spin! Just click on the button in the bottom left of your screen.
You can spin the wheel once a day. As you can see, you can win extra tickets, pins, a background, coins and silver tickets! If you're a non-member, and you win a silver ticket, you can use it to get into one of the members only rides! But it's one ride, one use. If you're a member, and you win a silver ticket, you just get 1,000 coins.
Also, if you wait 15 minutes, the Penguin Band will rise out of the Puffle shaped section of the floor and play a bit of their hit song, "Anchors Aweigh!"
If you click on them while they're playing, you can collect their new background! Or you can just go to your friends list if you've already added one of them. And I'm not sure, but you may be able to get their stamps if you haven't already when they perform. Now, let's check out Pirate Park!
In Pirate Park, you can get back to the Park Entrance or go to Tumbleweed Town through the two exits on the right. You can choose to play Puffle Soaker and Puffle Paddle, two well known fair games. If you're a member, or you have a silver ticket, you can ride the Marooned Lagoon and Buccaneer Boats rides!
Buccaneer Boats is a ride where you float around in a tube. If you bump into the popup signs, you earn 10 tickets!
In Marooned Lagoon, you float around the ride. When you go behind the shipwreck, you'll enter another part of the ride.
If you throw a snowball at a target, you can earn 10 tickets! Now, let's check out Tumbleweed Town!
In Tumbleweed Town, you can play more classic fair games, such as Balloon Pop, the Memory Card Game and Puffle Shuffle. Members or silver ticket owners can also ride the Wagon Wheel and test their aim in the Bulls Eye shack.
In Bulls Eye, you can throw snowballs at the Klutzy, Herbert and other targets for 10 tickets a hit.
The Wagon Wheel is just a fun ride where you can enjoy a pretty view. Onto the last area, Galaxy Park!
You can play Lunar Launch, which is just the Test Your Strength game, and Feed-A-Puffle here. You can also ride the Space Squid. Also, if you look in the top right corner, there's the missing arcade machine! Let's check it out!
Whoa! It's like a Pacman themed game in here! If you waddle to the different items in the room, like that coffee cup, you get 10 tickets!
You can't earn any tickets on the Space Squid, but it's awesome!
Lastly, there's three new emotes: A pixel smiley face, a clown smiley face and a roller coaster penguin emote. What do you think of this year's Fair? I think it's totally awesome, but the prizes are a tad overpriced. It's going to take me ages to earn enough tickets to get all these prizes! All well, better get started!
Waddle on!
