Fall Fair 2012 guide

Hey everyone! The Fall Fair has started!

Well, this isn't exactly a guide, more just a sort of tour, since there isn't any sort of challenge. Well, even though Rookie is waddling around, Rockhopper is still popping up around the Fall Fair, with him on buildings.

But anyway, there are game booths all over the island. Lets go check them out. The first couple of booths are at the Dock.

The games here are Spin to Win, Ring the Bell and Puffle Shuffle. Spin to Win is just like any spin to win. You hold down how much power you want the spin to be, then it's just luck from there. Ring the bell is the same, but it can be a bit tricky. You have to click it where you want the hammer to hit, but then you have to hold down the mouse button when you choose your aim, then choose how much power you want. But if you wait to long, you don't get any power. Puffle Shuffle is there are three puffles hidden under a hat, and you have to keep an eye on each puffle's hat, because after the hats have been shuffled, the game will ask you to pick the hat with a certain puffle underneath it. Ok, next up is the Snow Forts.

Or, to be more precise, the room that says "More games this way!"

There are two games in this room, Balloon Pop and Puffle Soaker. Balloon Pop is pretty easy when you get the hang of it. You control a fan. The fan is used to move the hot air balloon with the puffle in it. To make it go up, hold the fan under the hot air balloon, and same with the other directions. You can also make the hot air balloon go faster in the direction by holding down the mouse button. You have to pop the targets by bumping them into the cacti on the wall, but make sure you don't hit them, otherwise you'll loose a life. You have three lives. When the targets pop, tickets will fall out, and you have to move the hot air balloon to get them. Puffle Soaker is a game where you have to use the left and right arrow keys to aim, the up key to fire and the down key to duck. You have to hit the puffle targets. If you hit the targets with a penguin on them, you lose points. If you see a target with a java bag, pizza or mullet on it, duck, because if you get hit by them you lose points. Now, lets move onto the Forest.

The Forest has two games, and a prize booth but I'll explain that later. The games are the Memory Game and Puffle Paddle. The Memory Game is just a simple game of memory. You have to match up all the cards that are face down. If you match up the cards in the shortest amount of turns, you get more tickets. Puffle Paddle is simple as well, and is also one of my favorite games. You have a puffle, and you get a ticket every time you bounce it. Eventually, another puffle will drop down. I recommend focusing on one puffle, because you can heaps and heaps of tickets from doing that. I did that, and I managed to get 300 tickets, and I only quit because it was getting boring. But if you drop all the puffles on the screen, it's game over! Now for the prize booth.

You can trade in your tickets for prizes at prize booths. At the moment, there are only these three prizes in this booth. The rest of the prizes will be available on the 27th of September. There are also no secret items in this booth. Now if you look at the top of your screen, you should see a circus tent. Go into there.

In here is the second prize booth, and the Great Puffle Circus! And non-members can see the Great Puffle Circus now as well! But unfortunately non-members can't get any items from the second prize booth.

There are also going to be more items added to the booth on the 27th of September. There are no secret items in this booth either. Now, lets check out the Great Puffle Circus!

And for the first time, non-members can check out the circus as well! You choose a puffle act from the big sign at the top of the screen. The acts are:

The Flying Fireball: A black puffle turns into meteor mode, and starts flying around the tent, and flies through the three rings at the top of the room, and sets them on fire and then lands in the middle ring.

The Bearded Puffle: A white puffle is sitting on a chair on the stage with a fake beard. The beard falls off and the white puffle gives an embarrassed smile and blushes.

The Puffle Cannonball: A red puffle appears and puts on a crash helmet. The red puffle then hops into the cannon, gets shot out of the cannon and lands on the safety net.

The Delightful Diver: A pink puffle climbs up a diving board ladder. The pink puffle then puts on a scuba mask and dives into the small pool.

The Joyful Juggler: A green puffle flies down onto the top of the highwire. The green puffle then hops onto a unicycle and starts to juggle three red balls while cycling on the highwire.

The Brilliant Bouncer: A blue puffle appears and starts bouncing and performing tricks on the bouncing ball in the middle left corner.

The Vanishing Puffle: The yellow puffle ringmaster hops onto the stage with a purple puffle. He then puts a cloth over the purple puffle, waves his wand, pulls up the cloth and the purple puffle is gone.

The Munching Marvel: An orange puffle appears driving a small clown car, then hops out of it and eats it.

The Great Pufflini: A brown puffle tries to lift a set of weights, but fails. The brown puffle then puts on scientist goggles and gets a shrinking machine and shrinks the weights. The brown puffle then successfully lifts the weights.

Which act is your favorite? I'd have to say the Flying Fireball. Ok, onto the last game place, the Cove!

There's only one game here; Feed A Puffle. Feed A Puffle is a minature version of the Feed A Puffle game that's always on at the Puffle party. All you have to do is shoot O-Berries's into a puffle's mouth when they appear. You get a different amount of tickets on the type of puffle you feed. Also, each puffle is at a different distance, so you have to shoot the O-Berries's carefully. Now, there is only one free item that you don't have to get with tickets, the Step Right Up background, which you can get if you go to the Ski Village and click on the camera.

And last but not least, the Stadium.

If you wear a wheeler costume, you can ride and bump other penguins! Well, that's all! What do you think of the party?
Waddle on!
