My Penguin 1.2 for iPad Now Available

Hey everyone! Polo Field has posted some info on the new My Penguin update!

The new version of My Penguin for iPad is now available to download in the Apple App Store! The team has been working hard and it's totally paid off. Now it's time to try it out for yourself!

Party In My Iggy

Igloos Coming to My Penguin on iPad

Hey everyone! Spike Hike has posted some more info on the upcoming My Penguin update!

"Hey Penguins!

Last week we revealed the epic news that My Penguin 1.2 is coming to iPad, with all-new 3D penguin avatars! Of course, penguins need a place to hang out... and what better place to hang out than your iggy? That's right, igloos are coming to the next version of My Penguin!!

Here's how it works: when you log into My Penguin on iPad, you'll see your igloo as it appears on clubpenguin.com. Re-decorating your igloo in My Penguin is super-fast, too -- thanks to an all-new touch interface that takes full advantage of the iPad! When you save your iggy design, it will appear on clubpenguin.com as well. Pretty cool, eh?

Just like on clubpenguin.com, you can invite your friends to check out your igloo or visit theirs. My Penguin has a brand new interface that lets you see a preview of igloos for easy browsing. It will make it so much faster to find igloo parties!

For those interested in out technology, My Penguin uses entirely new tech that will be the future foundations of Club Penguin. Servers will work a little differently. Instead of logging into a server, we will take you directly to the igloo you want to go to. If the iggy gets full, we will spin up another version of that igloo so that more people can join. This will be really handy for the most popular iggys. Now if we only had a jump feature... :-)

Spike Hike look so cool in his igloo! I really want to see what I look like in the new avatar system. When Spike Hike says "...if we only had a jump feature..." I think he might be referring to serer jumping! Server jumping is a rumored feature that let's you change servers without logging off and on. There's been a lot of talk about if for ages, and if it does come out, it'll make mascot tracking a lot easier! What do you think? You can view this post here.

Twitter News

Hey everyone! I haven't done this in a while, but here's some info that you might find interesting that's been said on Twitter!

1. Card-Jitsu Shadow
For those of you who don't know, Card-Jitsu Shadow is a rumored Card-Jitsu game. There have been many theories about it. I think the best one is the shadow gem will go in the middle of the amulet.

But on Twitter, Ninja has changed his profile icon to a shadow ninja!

What does this mean? Had Ninja just simply changed his profile picture to represent him being as stealthy as a shadow? Or something else?

2. Penguin Band's Return

Spike Hike has tweeted that the Penguin Band will be returning soon to Club Penguin.

We usually see the Penguin Band at Music Jam, but Summer Jam was this years Music Jam. I wonder when they'll make their appearance?

3. #WaddleOn Musical

There have been some rumors that a Club Penguin musical would happen. It seemed real because Spike Hike has been tweeting links to CPMV's. (Club Penguin Music Videos)

Ninja also tweeted a tweet, saying that he's been working on a music video with a lot of sounds.

And then Spike Hike tweeted this.

So, Club Penguin are thinking about making a #WaddleOn musical? I'd definitely join in. I'll keep you guys updated on this.

4. My Penguin Update Information

Now, this information was literally released as soon as I started this post. For those of you who don't know, there's a pretty cool Club Penguin radio, which you can actually tune into and listen to. It's hosted by some people on Twitter, and I think it's really awesome. You can check it out here if you want. Anyway, Spike Hike tweeted them this just before their latest show.

Yes, the new My Penguin update will be released this Thursday! And it looks like that Bean Counters will be coming to My Penguin with new features! Awesome!

Teen Beach Summer Jam Mascots

Hey everyone! As with most parties, there are mascots waddling around the island. It's no different for Summer Jam, because Cadence, Brady and Mack are all waddling around for the party!

Since I haven't met Brady or Mack yet, I don't know what their player cards look like, and they don't have stamps either like Rocky and CeCe. But they do have a signed autographed background, which I can show you.

Also, if you search their names up in the friend list, it comes up with the usual mascot message.

Cadence, on the other hand, has a new player card and background!

Cadence has her own stamp, which you can get if you haven't met her before. You can also add all three of them as a friend if you find them. Apparently, Brady and Mack are hard to find, and I can agree with that as I've had no luck finding them yet. But I've already met Cadence once, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding her. I'll post more info on Brady and Mack once I find them.

Teen Beach Summer Jam Guide

Hey everyone! The Teen Beach Summer Jam has kicked off!

The aim of this party to to surf, ride and relax! So let's surf!

Each day, you can collect a free item at certain rooms around the island. You can find the Ukulele at the Dock.

Phew, we've only just started looking around and we've already got a free item! Let's take a proper look around the island.

All the rooms have been transformed into summer related fun! The Dock is now a surfing beach and stage.

The Beach now has a motorbike garage.

And the Stadium is now an awesome water slide! There's also two cool new rooms. But these are no ordinary rooms. In these rooms, you can surf and ride your motorbikes!

You can get to the Epic Wave room by clicking this buoy at either the Town, Dock, Plaza, Forest or Cove.

And you can get to the Highway by clicking this motorbike sign at the Town, Plaza or Cove.

One of the best things about this party is that there are a lot of items to collect and buy. So let's take a look at them all! As with most parties, there's a Summer Jam catalog, which you can get to by clicking this book in the bottom right of your screen.

There are four pages with heaps of new items in this catalog, but they are for members only.

You can't use the surfboards in this catalog in the Epic Wave room, but you will need to buy and hold one of the Motorbikes to ride a bike in the Highway room.

If you don't hold a Motorbike, you just run behind all the bikes.

There are also two secret items in the Summer Jam catalog. The first one is the Grass Skirt, and you can get it by clicking the headlamp of the Red Motorbike.

And the last secret item is the Shady Shades. You can get them by clicking on the picture of The Butchy.

There's also three new Summer Jam emotes: A blue surfboard emote, a beach ball emote and a purple friends forever symbol emote.

Since this party is a mix of the Summer Party, Water Party and Music Jam, there is a music element to this party. The music catalog in the Lighthouse has been given a makeover!

I think it looks pretty cool, but all the items in it have been at previous Music Jams.

There are two hidden items though. The first hidden item is the Microphone, and you can get it by clicking the end of the Tuba.

The second hidden items is the Violin. You can get it by clicking the star above the yellow penguin's head.

Now for the free items. Besides the items that are unlocked each day as I mentioned before, there are also four new free backgrounds to collect. Let's head to the Snow Forts!

In the Snow Forts, you'll find Big Momma's Shack, which is featured in the Teen Beach movie. You'll probably notice the timer on the shack. This timer counts down the time to Brady and Mack's performance! It starts at 20 minutes, and when it hits zero, they'll perform their song on the stage inside Big Momma's!

If you click on them while they're performing to get the Summer Jam background!

If you're a member, you can go backstage!

This is the place were you're most likely to find Brady and Mack when they're not performing. You can also click on the camera on the left of your screen for the Sunset Beach Background.

The other two backgrounds you can get from finding Cadence, Brady and Mack. And with that, that's Summer Jam! Stay tuned for more info on the items that are going to be released over the next few days. Enjoy the party!
