Holiday party and new emote sneak peek

Hey everyone! Polo Field has just posted this on the What's New Blog!

"Hello Penguins!

Only a few days left until December... Which means it's almost time for our annual Coins for Change event!

Every year the Club Penguin community helps us decide how we divide up a significant donation to worthy causes around the world. For this year's Coins for Change, we're giving $1 million USD!

There will be three different causes to choose from:

  • Provide Medical Help
  • Protect the Earth
  • Build Safe Places

Tell us which cause you're most passionate about by leaving a comment. We love hearing from you!

Waddle on!"

Just from that sneak peek of the Snow Forts, and I'm already really excited for the Holiday party! And I wonder what that emote is? Is it a cookie? And will that frozen emote on the new log out screen be a new emote as well? We'll just have to wait and see. You can view the post here.

New pin

Hey everyone! Even though Herbert has been defeated, there is no new field op. But there is a new pin, which is in the Mine.

What do you think of this new pin? I like the puffle in the middle.

clubherbert.com updated for possibly the last time

Hey everyone! Clubherbert.com has been updated again.

The only new thing is the Director's name and picture have been crossed off even though everyone has escaped. I have a feeling this might be the last time clubherbert.com is updated. But we'll see.

New log out screen

Hey everyone! This new log out screen looks AMAZING!!!!

This is awesome!!! The ice costume will be available for members, but it looks so cool! You can freeze other penguins and possibly puffles. And maybe that frozen icon above the puffle will be a new icon added during the party? But I can't wait until this part starts! Herbert wouldn't like this party at all.

"Cool in the Cold" music video

Hey everyone! Club Penguin has released a music video for their new song "Cool in the Cold!"

I like it, but it's not my favorite song. But that ice costume looks awesome! I really hope it's available during the Holiday party. Maybe it has something to do with that crystal palace sneak peek? Unfortunately  Cool in the Cold isn't available where I am, so I have to wait a bit more.

Card Jitsu Snow sneak peek

Hey everyone! We've all been wondering when Card Jitsu Snow is going to come out. And now we do, thanks to Spike Hike!

So, it's definitely coming out next year. I hope it's not in November though. You can view the tweet here.

Town and Plaza redesign

Hey everyone! In the Club Penguin New Horizons documentary, you could see what some rooms in Club Penguin will look like in the future. The Pizza Parlor and Gift Shop have already been updated, and in this post, Polo Field says the Town and Plaza are close to being updated.

"Hello Penguins!

We recently launched the first updates to some of the Club Penguin rooms. Thanks for all the great comments letting us know how much you like them!

A lot of you have asked when the next updates are coming. And I'm stoked to say that there's a bunch coming in a few weeks!

So here's two rooms that I'm really excited about:

Until then...

Waddle On!"

Wow! I'm guessing that Club Penguin'll update these rooms after Operation Blackout finishes. I wonder what other rooms will get updated? You can view the post here.

PSA missions still available

Hey everyone! As you probably know, since EPF HQ has been destroyed, we haven't been able to play PSA missions.

But Polo Field posted this on the What's New Blog!

"Greeting Agents.

As many of you know, Herbert P. Bear has destroyed the EPF Headquarters, along with the VR Room.

I can't say to much yet, but the team's got some big ideas for the EPF in the future (Stay tuned to the blog and I'll update you when I  have more information.)

We know how much you guys love the PSA Missions and wanted to make sure you're able to access them. We'll be adding the old PSA Missions soon to the Fun Stuff section, so you can play them if you want.

What's your favorite PSA Mission? Let us know what you like best about your favorite mission by leaving a comment below.

Until then... Waddle On, Agents! :)"

I don't think the PSA missions have been added yet. They might get added when Operation Blackout finishes. I can't wait though! You can view the post here.

Blog updates

Hey everyone! I have some announcements that involve this blog. Firstly, the poll is closed! And the Starfield background won! When Operation Blackout finishes, I will be using that background. You can view it here. Secondly, my Xat chat is now open! It's not 100% completed, but I'll be working on it throughout the next couple of weeks. I will also be looking for owners and moderators for the chat as well. I will be adding the link to it on the taskbar under the blogs header. Well, that's it. I'll post more blog updates in the future.

Hey everyone! Since all the mission have been released, Club Penguin have put up this log out screen.

I have all this spy gear. If you don't, you better hurry before it's gone.

Operation Blackout breaks records!

Hey everyone! Operation Blackout has broken records at Club Penguin! Spike Hike posted this on the Club Penguin blog!

"Hey there, Penguins!

Big news! With all the excitement for Operation Blackout and the epic finale launching today, we've had over 1.8 million Penguins log in during the last 24 hours - a new record! Club Penguin is bigger than ever, and we couldn't have done it without you guys!

For those who haven't logged in yet, we still need your help to defeat Herbert. Gear up in your Lava Boots and help us take him down. There are rumors going around that if you help defeat Herbert, the Director will reveal his identity to you. Or is it her identity?

With the record traffic, I know some people have seen some glitches today. Sorry about that. The team are all over it and should have them all fixed soon. Thanks for hanging in there.

Thanks again for making this happen!

Until next time... Waddle on!"

Congrats Club Penguin! I can't wait until Club Penguin gets 2 million penguins online!

Herbert P Bear

Hey everyone! For the first time ever, Herbert P Bear is available to meet as a mascot!

You can add him, get his stamp and his background!

When I have time, I'll be tracking Herbert. I'll post his locations in the Current News widget near the top of my blog. Also if I get my Xat chat ready before the party ends, I'll track there. I hope you meet him!

Mission 6 guide

Hey everyone! As we found out in the mission 5 guide post, the Director has been kidnapped! His picture has been added to the kidnapped board.

That's everyone. The fate of the island rests in our hands.

All we have to do is shut down the Solar Laser now.

Equip the Anti Lava Boots and click "go there' under the picture of the Solar Laser control panel.

So, we're back where it all started. Now lets finish this! Walk across the lava and go through the door.

The Solar Laser control room. You can see all the EPF agents frozen. But before we rescue them, lets shut down this Solar Laser! Click the control panel to start.

The last key game puzzle. That probably means it'll be really hard! But just follow my instructions as best as you can.

To beat it, first you move the block nearest to the slot facing horizontally as much to the left as you can. Then you move the block blocking the slot as much down as you can. Then move the block in the top left corner as much to the right as you can. Then move the two blocks that were under that block up. Then move the block on the bottom facing horizontally as much to the left as you can. The move the block in front of the key as much down as you can. It should end up looking like this.

We've done it! Move the key into the slot, and lets take down this machine!

Woops. RUN!!!

=O Aunt Arctic is the Director?!?!?!?! Wow... One of the biggest secrets in Club Penguin history has been revealed! After the video has finished, you can get a Covert Operation Station for your igloo. Yay, it's sunny and the EPF agents have been freed!!!

Even though it's still dark and cold, the sun is starting to poke through the clouds now.

Everything should be back to normal in no time! Well, that's Operation Blackout finished! I suggest if you haven't met Herbert as a mascot yet, try to now.

Herbert Style!

Hey everyone! Now, I'm sure you've probably heard of Gangnam Style. But have you heard of Herbert Style?

Yes, Club Penguin made a parody of Gangnam Style. I think this video is awesome! But I don't think Herbert will be very happy for long.

Mission 5 guide

Hey everyone! Unfortunately, now Jet Pack Guy has been kidnapped!

We're coming so close to defeating Herbert, we can't let this loss affect us.

We have to crack security terminal 5. This is where it's located in Herbert's fortress.

Equip your Smoke Goggles, then click "go there" under the picture of the 5th security terminal.

You'll end up in the 4th security terminal room. When you have your Smoke Goggles equipped, the door should open.

Now go through the smoke screen.

You couldn't tell if Herbert or Rockhopper was living here. XD Anyway, click the terminal to start.

And yes, it's the key game.

To beat it, you move the key as far to the right as you can. Then move the vertical block behind it as much down as you can. Then move the block at the very back that's horizontal as much to the right as you can. Then move the block at the very back that's vertical as much up as you can. Then move the block in the bottom left corner as much to the left as you can. The move the block in the bottom right corner as much to the left as you can. Then move the block covering the exit slot down as much as you can. It should end up looking like this.

Now move the key into the slot. Congrats! You now have Herbert Security Clearance 5!

Only one more spot to go! Also, if you go through the vent on the left hand side of the room, you come out here!

Now the vent it open! And so is the door! But blocking your way is a lake of lava. I wonder how we're gonna get across it *cough lava boots cough*. And if you go through the vent up the top, you can see Jet Pack Guy in his prison. Hold on, we're coming!

You're kidding me. The Director's been captured as well?! And we still can't see him/her. Stay tuned for the final mission!

Even more snow!

Hey everyone! Since Club Herbert updated, there is now even more snow and the island is even more darker!

Lol, where'd the Dojo go? If you compare the big thermometer in the Town from when Operation Blackout first started, to the second update, to now, there's a massive difference!

Massive difference! We're getting even closer to a complete blackout.

clubherbert.com updated!

Hey everyone! Herbert has updated his website clubherbert.com again!

He's crossed out Dot, Rookie and Jet Pack Guy which means Jet Pack Guy must now be captured! He's also now got a "To do" list on his computer. It says"To do: Director's identity confirmed  Crabs dispatched and Undisputed victory." What?!?! He found out who the Director is? How is that even possible? And maybe the crabs he's dispatched are capturing all the EPF agents. We better warn the Director as soon as we can. At least Herbert doesn't think he's won completely yet. You can visit clubherbert.com here.

Holiday party sneak peek

Hey everyone! Polo Field posted some sneak peeks of the Holiday party on the What's new blog!

"Hello penguins!

I love this time of year! December is just around the corner, which means it's almost time for Club Penguin's annual Holiday Party.

See if you can guess what's coming from these picture clues:

Leave us your guesses in the comments below!

Until then... Waddle on!"

I think the first picture is some kind of super sled that could be replacing the sled that's on the Nightclub Rooftop at the Holiday party, the second picture looks like some kind of crystal and ice castle and the third picture looks like a reindeer which means a new reindeer costume could be appearing in the catalog. What do you think? You can view this post here.

Mission 4 guide

Hey everyone! Rookie has now been kidnapped by Herbert!

His picture has been added to the captured list.

Now we have to shut down security terminal number 4. This is where it's located in Herbert's base.

It looks like we're gonna have to deflect laser beams with this new laser beam deflector vest. Equip it, then click "go there" beneath the picture of the 4th security terminal.

If you go back through the vent, you can see Rookie frozen in ice!

Anyway, go back through the vent, and click on the yellow and black floor in front of the door. The lasers should turn green, and you can walk through the door.

What's that chair? Is it used for brainwashing penguins into loving Herbert? Anyway, click on the security terminal to start.

You guessed it! It's the key game!

To beat it, you move the block at the back that's facing vertically as far down as you can. Then move the block under the key facing vertically as much down as you can. Then move the block nearest to the slot facing horizontally as much to the left as you can. Then move the block at the top facing vertically as much down as you can. It should look like this.

Congratulations! You now have Herbert security clearance 4!

Stay tuned for mission 5 guide!
