Hey everyone! The new Marvel Superhero Takeover has started! :D
There's so much to do, but first, lets starts with the free items. The first free item is a background called "Press Conference", and you can get it by clicking on the camera in the coffee shop.
The second free item is another background called "The Mug Shot", and you can get it by clicking the camera in the Stage.
The third free item is a Hard Hat, but you probably already have it, but in case you don't you can get one at the Gift Shop.
The last free item is a hand item, the Money Bag, which is at the Pizza Parlor.
Now, you might notice the three panels with the Villain symbols on them outside the bank vault.
Don't worry about them. Three Villains can stand on them, and the door will open, but you can just waddle through the door anyway. Ok, now onto the not so free items. At the Gift Shop, two new catalogs have been added!
The first catalog is for everyone! That's right, members and non-members can buy all the stuff in the top catalog if they have the coins. There is a Police Officer costume and a Bank Robber costume, so you can still be good or evil, even if you aren't a member. There's even a reporter hat! There are no hidden items in this catalog.
Ok, the second catalog is for members only, and guess what? It has all the superhero and villain costumes in it!
As you can see, you can purchase different superhero and villain costumes from the Marvel movies and comics. And, there are also some items there by Club Penguin. You can three different types of gloves, and a Robot Drone costume. Now, the gloves are pretty cool. If you wear the gloves, and throw a snowballs at the items with yellow and black stripes on it, a cool effect will happen.
If you wear the yellow gloves, the item will burn out in a big ball of lightning!
If you wear the purple gloves, the item will be melted down in a big ball of energy!
And if you wear the blue gloves, the item gets surrounded by a big ball of ice, and freezes!
Ok, lets get into the party stuff. When you log in, you'll see this screen.
Members can be a Super Hero, a Super Villain, or a Citizen. Non-members can only be Citizens. Now, whichever side you choose, the ring around your penguin will change colour. If you're a Superhero, the ring will turn Yellow.
If you're a Villain, the ring will turn black.
And if you're a Citizen, your ring will turn blue.
Ok. Each side has their own base. Citizens have the Stage, or as it is now known, the Police Station. If you're a good Citizen, you get the comfy chairs. If you're a bad citizen, you get the cold cells. Now, if you're a Superhero, you get your own base, the Superhero Space HQ! And if you're a Super Villain, you get your own base to, the Supervillain Underground Lair! Now, there's multiple ways of getting to the bases. You can go to Beach, Forest, Mine Shack and Ski Village, click on the sign, and click "Go there!".
Now for the secret entrances. If you go to the Town or Plaza, click on this, and it'll take you the Superhero HQ.
Also at the Town and Plaza, if you see this, click on it, and it'll take you to Villain HQ.
There's also a entrance to both HQ's at the Gift Shop.
There's also a entrance to the Villain HQ at the Stage.
The Superhero base is in Space, and it's pretty cool!
The Villain HQ is underground, and it's pretty dark in there.
See the symbol in the top right corner? If you click that, you can change sides at any time. Also, you might see this sometimes.
That just tells you to go somewhere.
Anyway, this post is getting to long, so I better get to the Protobot. Now, only members can defeat it, so sorry non-members. Anyway, of you waddle on to the Snow Forts, you'll see a big building. Go into it, and you should see this.
Ahhh! 17 minutes? Yes, you do have to wait for the Protobot to come. anyway, lets just wait. Ahhh! Here he is!
If you're on the good side, throw snowballs at the targets on the Protobot.
If you're on the bad side, throw snowballs at the bucket on the Protobot.
The Protobot's life bar will go down until it is destroyed.
Hopefully you're good, and the Protobot gets destroyed.
Yay! The day is saved, and the city is good again!
