Let's get straight into it! Firstly, take any of your own Puffles to the Pet Shop!
See that Golden O'Berry machine? Click on it while walking your puffle.
As you can see from the member sign, unfortunately this quest is for members only. If you are a member, you can buy a Golden O'Berry for your puffle!
Once your puffle eats the Golden O'Berry, it'll appear over its head and a golden circle will appear around your puffle.
Now we can start! A counter will appear on the right-middle of your screen.
Click on it.
So, to be able to find the gold puffle, your own puffle needs to dig up 15 gold nuggets. This can only be done when your puffle eats a Golden O'Berry. The Golden O'Berry lasts until you stop walking the puffle you fed it to or you log off. So basically all you have to do now is start walking your puffle around.
You might see this icon while you're walking your puffle around. Take no notice of it, because this will happen every time.
When you finally find a gold nugget, your puffle, regardless what type it is, will crack open the ground and a gold nugget will fly out of it.
You have a chance of getting one, two, or even three gold nuggets at one time.
Your gold nuggets will start to form a picture of a gold puffle.
Thankfully, any gold nuggets you find are saved even when you log off, so you don't have to find them all in one go. My strategy for this was to walk around in one place until I found a gold nugget, then move to another place and repeat. It took me around 15 minutes until I found all 15 nuggets.
Once you've found 15 gold nuggets, the picture will break and reveal a map! Click the "Go There!" button.
Wow, what a gold mine! We've nearly discovered the gold puffle! The only thing left to do is to click the jackhammer!
The jackhammer will drill into the ground, and a gold puffle statue will erupt out of the ground on a fountain of liquid gold! The statue will then crack and the legendary gold puffle will come out and bounce over to you!
Congratulations! You've successfully adopted a gold puffle!
Not only do you receive your gold puffle, but you get its adoption certificate and a toy jackhammer as well. Here's my gold puffle, Aurum!
